What educators are saying

This was a great resource for my AP students and really hit the targets for what they needed to know!

Description

This highly engaging, media rich presentation/lecture explores the essential question: In what ways did music and entertainment change in Post WWII America? 1950s icons from music, television and film including Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, James Dean, Little Richard, Marilyn Monroe are concisely introduced and historical significance explored. Special attention is paid to increasing students' cultural literacy and showing how tastes, preferences, themes, and celebrities changed from during WWII and after the war. Great music and great fun for you and your students!
