As an Elementary teacher for many years, I've found that you can never have too many art ideas. This PowerPoint presentation includes 100 different tried and true art lessons that I've used over the years. This collection includes only “Winter” themed ideas. You’ll find everything from drawing and painting, to sewing and weaving, paper crafts, working with clay and sculpture, printmaking, stamping, and more. You’ll work with subjects such as snowmen, penguins, polar bears, mittens, wintery landscapes, hot cocoa, Christmas, snow globes, snowflakes, Valentine’s hearts, and much more. Each slide in the presentation shows one or more examples of a finished product (all photographed examples were done by students, and therefore are exhibit a childlike handling). Each slide in the presentation lists the media, materials list, steps required, grade appropriateness and finishing touches necessary to complete each project. This collection of 100 lessons is part of a series which includes: “100 Fall Ideas” and “100 Spring and Summer Ideas”. No two lessons in this series are the same. This grouping of ideas is ideal for a new art teacher, a crafty elementary regular classroom teacher, early childhood teacher, girl / boy scout leader, or even a seasoned art teacher looking for variations of well-known themes. I trust you'll enjoy these projects as much as my own students do.
