Description

This google doc provides you with 4 weeks of school (January) 45-minute lesson plans for:

  • Kindergarten
  • First Grade
  • Second Grade
  • Third Grade
  • Fourth Grade
  • Fifth Grade

Books needed for these lessons: This months lesson focuses on The Caldecott Awards

  • Bear Came Along by Morris
  • Wolf in the Snow by Cordell
  • Leave Me Alone! by Brosgol
  • They all Saw a Cat by Wenzel
  • Sam and Dave Dig a Hole by Barnett

The google doc is editable, so you could change books easily. I teach on a busy fixed schedule so I like to keep my plans simple. This is the reason I normally read the same book to more than one grade level. Plus, the more I read it the better I get!
