    Description

Huge Time Saver and save with the BUNDLE - Daily Lessons, done for you! This bundle includes an individual lesson for each lesson in topics 1, 2, 3, and 4. It follows the teacher's guide and student textbook lessons, so it will seamlessly fit your daily routine!

If you need a different copyright, use these links for the full library of the 2012 version, the Common Core 2.0 (2016 version), or the newest Common Core 2020 version.

Let me save you the hours needed to create the slides, so you can get to the important part ... teaching! For each of the 4 topics in this bundle, there is a unique ppt for every lesson. The lessons start with a title page followed by the lesson's purpose (I have students read this aloud each day), a connection to get students thinking about how the lesson applies to their life, and then any necessary vocabulary. Then, the slides walk students through teaching and guided practice of the skill. I've done my best to include any tips and have thought of student misconceptions that might arise during each lesson as well. My students take notes, writing down the date and lesson title each day, and then they write down any tips and tricks and practice problems as we go through the lesson together.

Because the slides are editable, you can change names to match students in your class, add slides with daily reminders, or add one final slide to the end of each day's lesson. I typically add a slide that has their next steps at the end of each lesson. This may be their classwork or homework assignment, reminders about an upcoming test, or anything else you feel is important to the lesson that you want posted for your students. It helps to stop (mostly) any "what do we do now" or "what's our homework" questions because it's posted

Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.
Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
